Miracles of Jesus

Matthew 4:23
23 Then he went around throughout the whole of Gal´i·lee, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the good news of the kingdom and curing every sort of disease and every sort of infirmity among the people. 24 And the report about him went out into all Syria; and they brought him all those faring badly, distressed with various diseases and torments, demon-possessed and epileptic and paralyzed persons, and he cured them.

Jesus was a teacher, then a preacher and a healer

Matthew 9:19-29
19 Then Jesus, getting up, began to follow him; also his disciples did. 20 And, look! a woman suffering twelve years from a flow of blood came up behind and touched the fringe of his outer garment; 21 for she kept saying to herself: “If I only touch his outer garment I shall get well.” 22 Jesus turned around and, noticing her, said: “Take courage, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And from that hour the woman became well.

23 When, now, he came into the ruler’s house and caught sight of the flute players and the crowd in noisy confusion, 24 Jesus began to say: “Leave the place, for the little girl did not die, but she is sleeping.” At this they began to laugh at him scornfully. 25 As soon as the crowd had been sent outside, he went in and took hold of her hand, and the little girl got up. 26 Of course, the talk about this spread out into all that region.

27 As Jesus was passing along from there, two blind men followed him, crying out and saying: “Have mercy on us, Son of David.” 28 After he had gone into the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus asked them: “Do YOU have faith that I can do this?” They answered him: “Yes, Lord.” 29 Then he touched their eyes, saying: “According to YOUR faith let it happen to YOU.” 30 And their eyes received sight. Moreover, Jesus sternly charged them, saying: “See that nobody gets to know it.” 31 But they, after getting outside, made it public about him in all that region.

Mark 5:25-29
25 Now there was a woman subject to a flow of blood 12 years,
26 and she had been put to many pains by many physicians and had spent all her resources and had not been benefited but, rather, had got worse.
27 When she heard the things about Jesus, she came behind in the crowd and touched his outer garment;
28 for she kept saying: “If I touch just his outer garments I shall get well.”
29 And immediately her fountain of blood dried up, and she sensed in her body that she had been healed of the grievous sickness.

Deuteronomy6
20 “In case your son should ask you in a future day, saying, ‘What do the testimonies and the regulations and the judicial decisions mean that Jehovah our God has commanded YOU?’
21 then you must say to your son, ‘We became slaves to Phar´aoh in Egypt, but Jehovah proceeded to bring us out of Egypt with a strong hand.

22 So Jehovah kept putting signs and miracles, great and calamitous, upon Egypt, upon Phar´aoh and upon all his household before our eyes.

Matthew 7:21-23
21 “Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will.
22 Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’ 23 And yet then I will confess to them: I never knew YOU! Get away from me, YOU workers of lawlessness.

The flow of Blood

Matthew 9:19-31

A BlindMen receive Sight.

Stop Doubting
Matthew 14:27 32

27 But at once Jesus spoke to them with the words: “Take courage, it is I; have no fear.” 28 In reply Peter said to him: “Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you over the waters.” 29 He said: “Come!” Thereupon Peter, getting down off the boat, walked over the waters and went toward Jesus. 30 But looking at the windstorm, he got afraid and, after starting to sink, he cried out: “Lord, save me!” 31 Immediately stretching out his hand Jesus caught hold of him and said to him: “You with little faith, why did you give way to doubt?” 32 And after they got up into the boat, the windstorm abated. 33 Then those in the boat did obeisance to him, saying: “You are really God’s Son.” 34 And they got across and came to land in Gen·nes´a·ret.

Jesus Feed the Crowd

Matthew 15:32-39
32 But Jesus called his disciples to him and said: “I feel pity for the crowd, because it is already three days that they have stayed with me and they have nothing to eat; and I do not want to send them away fasting. They may possibly give out on the road.” 33 However, the disciples said to him: “Where are we in this lonely place going to get sufficient loaves to satisfy a crowd of this size?” 34 At this Jesus said to them: “How many loaves have YOU?” They said: “Seven, and a few little fishes.” 35 So, after instructing the crowd to recline upon the ground, 36 he took the seven loaves and the fishes and, after offering thanks, he broke them and began distributing to the disciples, the disciples in turn to the crowds. 37 And all ate and were satisfied, and as a surplus of fragments they took up seven provision baskets full. 38 Yet those eating were four thousand men, besides women and young children. 39 Finally, after sending the crowds away, he got into the boat and came into the regions of Mag´a·dan.

Matthew 11:28-30
28 Come to me, all YOU who are toiling and loaded down, and I will refresh YOU. 29 Take my yoke upon YOU and learn from me, for I am mild-tempered and lowly in heart, and YOU will find refreshment for YOUR souls.
30 For my yoke is kindly and my load is light.”

Matthew 13:53-58
53 Now when Jesus had finished these illustrations he went across country from there. 54 And after coming into his home territory he began to teach them in their synagogue, so that they were astounded and said: “Where did this man get this wisdom and these powerful works? 55 Is this not the carpenter’s son? Is not his mother called Mary, and his brothers James and Joseph and Simon and Judas? 56 And his sisters, are they not all with us? Where, then, did this man get all these things?” 57 So they began to stumble at him. But Jesus said to them: “A prophet is not unhonored except in his home territory and in his own house.”
Xx
58 And he did not do many powerful works there on account of their lack of faith.

Transfiguration of Jesus

Mathew 17:1-9
1 Six days later Jesus took Peter and James and John his brother along and brought them up into a lofty mountain by themselves. 2 And he was transfigured before them, and his face shone as the sun, and his outer garments became brilliant as the light. 3 And, look! there appeared to them Moses and E·li´jah, conversing with him. 4 Responsively Peter said to Jesus: “Lord, it is fine for us to be here. If you wish, I will erect three tents here, one for you and one for Moses and one for E·li´jah.” 5 While he was yet speaking, look! a bright cloud overshadowed them, and, look! a voice out of the cloud, saying: “This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved; listen to him.” 6 At hearing this the disciples fell upon their faces and became very much afraid. 7 Then Jesus came near and, touching them, said: “Get up and have no fear.” 8 When they raised their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus himself only. 9 And as they were descending from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, saying: “Tell the vision to no one until the Son of man is raised up from the dead.”

A boy with Demon

Matthew 17:14
When they came to the multitude, a man came to him, kneeling down to him, saying, “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is epileptic, and suffers grievously; for he often falls into the fire, and often into the water. Jesus answered, “Faithless and perverse generation! How long will I be with you? How long will I bear with you? Bring him here to me.” Jesus rebuked him, the demon went out of him, and the boy was cured from that hour. Then the disciples came to Jesus privately, and said, “Why weren’t we able to cast it out?” He said to them, “Because of your unbelief. For most certainly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. But this kind doesn’t go out except by prayer and fasting.” (Matthew 17:14, 15, 17-21 WEB)
World English Bible.

2 Corinthian 10
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage warfare according to [what we are in the] flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but powerful by God for overturning strongly entrenched things. 5 For we are overturning reasonings and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God; and we are bringing every thought into captivity to make it obedient to the Christ; 6 and we are holding ourselves in readiness to inflict punishment for every disobedience, as soon as YOUR own obedience has been fully carried out.

Galatia 3:
5 He, therefore, who supplies YOU the spirit and performs powerful works among YOU, does he do it owing to works of law or owing to a hearing by faith? 6 Just as Abraham “put faith in Jehovah, and it was counted to him as righteousness

Luke 7:18-23
20 When they came up to him the men said: “John the Baptist dispatched us to you to say, ‘Are you the Coming One or are we to expect another?’”
Xxx
21 In that hour he cured many of sicknesses and grievous diseases and wicked spirits, and granted many blind persons the favor of seeing.
22 Hence in answer he said to the [two]: “Go YOUR way, report to John what YOU saw and heard: the blind are receiving sight, the lame are walking, the lepers are being cleansed and the deaf are hearing, the dead are being raised up, the poor are being told the good news.

Luke 10:17-20
17 Then the seventy returned with joy, saying: “Lord, even the demons are made subject to us by the use of your name.”
18 At that he said to them: “I began to behold Satan already fallen like lightning from heaven.
19 Look! I have given YOU the authority to trample underfoot serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will by any means do YOU hurt.
20 Nevertheless, do not rejoice over this, that the spirits are made subject to YOU, but rejoice because YOUR names have been inscribed in the heavens.”

Luke 18:35-43
35 Now as he was getting near to Jer´i·cho a certain blind man was sitting beside the road begging. 36 Because he heard a crowd moving through he began to inquire what this might mean. 37 They reported to him: “Jesus the Naz·a·rene´ is passing by!” 38 At that he cried out, saying: “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” 39 And those going in advance began to tell him sternly to keep quiet, but that much more he kept shouting: “Son of David, have mercy on me.” 40 Then Jesus stood still and commanded the [man] to be led to him. After he got near, [Jesus] asked him: 41 “What do you want me to do for you?” He said: “Lord, let me recover sight.” 42 So Jesus said to him: “Recover your sight; your faith has made you well.” 43 And instantly he recovered sight, and he began to follow him, glorifying God. Also, all the people, at seeing [it], gave praise to God.

John 5:1-14
After this, Jesus went to Jerusalem for a religious festival. Near the Sheep Gate in Jerusalem there is a pool with five porches; in Hebrew it is called Bethzatha. A large crowd of sick people were lying in the porches — the blind, the lame, and the paralysed.
Xxx
A man was there who had been ill for 38 years. Jesus saw him lying there, and he knew that the man had been ill for such a long time; so he asked him, “Do you want to get well?” The sick man answered, “Sir, I have no one here to put me in the pool when the water is stirred up; while I am trying to get in, somebody else gets there first.” Jesus said to him, “Get up, pick up your mat, and walk.” Immediately the man got well; he picked up his mat and started walking.
Xx
The day this happened was a Sabbath, so the Jewish authorities told the man who had been healed, “This is a Sabbath, and it is against our Law for you to carry your mat.”
Xxx
Afterwards, Jesus found him in the Temple and said, “Listen, you are well now; so stop sinning or something worse may happen to you.” (John 5:1-3, 5-10, 14 GNB)

Act 19:11 -18
And God kept performing extraordinary works of power through the hands of Paul,
12 so that even cloths and aprons were borne from his body to the ailing people, and the diseases left them, and the wicked spirits came out.
13 But certain ones of the roving Jews who practiced the casting out of demons also undertook to name the name of the Lord Jesus over those having the wicked spirits, saying: “I solemnly charge YOU by Jesus whom Paul preaches.”
14 Now there were seven sons of a certain Sce´va, a Jewish chief priest, doing this.
Xx
15 But in answer the wicked spirit said to them: “I know Jesus and I am acquainted with Paul; but who are YOU?” 16 With that the man in whom the wicked spirit was leaped upon them, got the mastery of one after the other, and prevailed against them, so that they fled naked and wounded out of that house. 17 This became known to all, both the Jews and the Greeks that dwelt in Eph´e·sus; and a fear fell upon them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus went on being magnified. 18 And many of those who had become believers would come and confess and report their practices openly.

John 9:1-8
1 Now as he was passing along he saw a man blind from birth. 2 And his disciples asked him: “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, so that he was born blind?” 3 Jesus answered: “Neither this man sinned nor his parents, but it was in order that the works of God might be made manifest in his case. 4 We must work the works of him that sent me while it is day; the night is coming when no man can work. 5 As long as I am in the world, I am the world’s light.” 6 After he said these things, he spit on the ground and made a clay with the saliva, and put his clay upon the [man’s] eyes 7 and said to him: “Go wash in the pool of Si·lo´am” (which is translated ‘Sent forth’). And so he went off and washed, and came back seeing.

8 Therefore the neighbors and those who formerly used to see he was a beggar began to say: “This is the man that used to sit and beg, is it not?” 9 Some would say: “This is he.” Others would say: “Not at all, but he is like him.” The man would say: “I am [he].” 10 Consequently they began to say to him: “How, then, were your eyes opened?” 11 He answered: “The man called Jesus made a clay and smeared [it] on my eyes and said to me, ‘Go to Si·lo´am and wash.’ I therefore went and washed and gained sight.” 12 At this they said to him: “Where is that [man]?” He said: “I do not know.”

Lazarus woke from Death.

John 11: 38-43
33 Jesus, therefore, when he saw her weeping and the Jews that came with her weeping, groaned in the spirit and became troubled; 34 and he said: “Where have YOU laid him?” They said to him: “Lord, come and see.”
Xxx
35 Jesus gave way to tears.
Xxxx
36 Therefore the Jews began to say: “See, what affection he used to have for him!” 37 But some of them said: “Was not this [man] that opened the eyes of the blind man able to prevent this one from dying

38 Hence Jesus, after groaning again within himself, came to the memorial tomb. It was, in fact, a cave, and a stone was lying against it. 39 Jesus said: “TAKE the stone away.” Martha, the sister of the deceased, said to him: “Lord, by now he must smell, for it is four days.” 40 Jesus said to her: “Did I not tell you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” 41 Therefore they took the stone away. Now Jesus raised his eyes heavenward and said: “Father, I thank you that you have heard me.
Xxxxx
42 True, I knew that you always hear me; but on account of the crowd standing around I spoke, in order that they might believe that you sent me forth.” 43 And when he had said these things, he cried out with a loud voice: “Laz´a·rus, come on out!” 44 The [man] that had been dead came out with his feet and hands bound with wrappings, and his countenance was bound about with a cloth. Jesus said to them: “Loose him and let him go.”

Miracles of Elijah

Fed by Ravens

And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the Lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word. And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there. So he went and did according unto the word of the Lord : for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook. (1 Kings 17:1-6 KJV)

Raises Widow,s Son

1 Kings 17:17-24 KJV)
And it came to pass after these things, that the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick; and his sickness was so sore, that there was no breath left in him. And she said unto Elijah, What have I to do with thee, O thou man of God? art thou come unto me to call my sin to remembrance, and to slay my son? And he said unto her, Give me thy son. And he took him out of her bosom, and carried him up into a loft, where he abode, and laid him upon his own bed. And he cried unto the Lord, and said, O Lord my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son? And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the Lord, and said, O Lord my God, I pray thee, let this child’s soul come into him again. And the Lord heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived. And Elijah took the child, and brought him down out of the chamber into the house, and delivered him unto his mother: and Elijah said, See, thy son liveth. And the woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that thou art a man of God, and that the word of the Lord in thy mouth is truth. (

Widow,s meal and oil replenished

1 King 17:8-16
8 The word of Jehovah now came to him, saying: 9 “Rise up, go to Zar´e·phath, which belongs to Si´don, and you must dwell there. Look! I shall certainly command there a woman, a widow, to supply you food.” 10 Accordingly he rose up and went to Zar´e·phath and came into the entrance of the city; and, look! a woman, a widow, was there gathering up pieces of wood. So he called to her and said: “Please, get me a sip of water in a vessel that I may drink.” 11 When she began to go and get it, he went on to call to her and say: “Please, get me a bit of bread in your hand.” 12 At this she said: “As Jehovah your God is living, I have no round cake, but a handful of flour in the large jar and a little oil in the small jar; and here I am gathering up a few pieces of wood, and I must go in and make something for myself and my son, and we shall have to eat it and die.”

13 Then E·li´jah said to her: “Do not be afraid. Go in, do according to your word. Only from what is there make me a small round cake first, and you must bring it out to me, and for yourself and your son you can make something afterward. 14 For this is what Jehovah the God of Israel has said, ‘The large jar of flour itself will not get exhausted, and the small jar of oil itself will not fail until the day of Jehovah’s giving a downpour upon the surface of the ground.’” 15 So she went and did according to E·li´jah’s word; and she continued to eat, she together with him and her household, for days. 16 The large jar of flour itself did not get exhausted, and the small jar of oil itself did not fail, according to Jehovah’s word that he had spoken by means of E·li´jah.

Fire comes down from heaven and consumes his offering
1 Kings 18:36-38

36 And it came about at the time that the grain offering goes up that E·li´jah the prophet began to approach and say: “O Jehovah, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, today let it be known that you are God in Israel and I am your servant and it is by your word that I have done all these things. 37 Answer me, O Jehovah, answer me, that this people may know that you, Jehovah, are the [true] God and you yourself have turned their heart back.”

38 At that the fire of Jehovah came falling and went eating up the burnt offering and the pieces of wood and the stones and the dust, and the water that was in the trench it licked up. 39 When all the people saw it, they immediately fell upon their faces and said: “Jehovah is the [true] God! Jehovah is the [true] God!” 40 Then E·li´jah said to them: “Seize the prophets of Ba´al! Do not let a single one of them escape!” At once they seized them, and E·li´jah then brought them down to the torrent valley of Ki´shon and slaughtered them there.

Elijah Fed by angel

1 kings 19:5-7
5 Finally he lay down and fell asleep under the broom tree. But, look! now an angel was touching him. Then he said to him: “Rise up, eat.” 6 When he looked, why, there at his head was a round cake upon heated stones and a jug of water. And he began to eat and drink, after which he lay down again. 7 Later the angel of Jehovah came back a second time and touched him and said: “Rise up, eat, for the journey is too much for you.” 8 So he rose up and ate and drank, and he kept going in the power of that nourishment for forty days and forty nights as far as the mountain of the [true] God, Ho´reb.

Elijah
Fire comes down from heaven and consumes 50 men and their Captain

2 Kings 1:9-12
9 And he proceeded to send to him a chief of fifty with his fifty. When he went up to him, there he was sitting upon the top of the mountain. He now spoke to him: “Man of the [true] God, the king himself has spoken, ‘Do come down.’” 10 But E·li´jah answered and spoke to the chief of the fifty: “Well, if I am a man of God, let fire come down from the heavens and eat up you and your fifty.” And fire came descending from the heavens and went eating up him and his fifty.

11 So he sent again to him another chief of fifty with his fifty. In turn he answered and spoke to him: “Man of the [true] God, this is what the king has said, ‘Do come down quickly.’” 12 But E·li´jah answered and spoke to them: “If I am a man of the [true] God, let fire come down from the heavens and eat up you and your fifty.” And fire of God came descending from the heavens and went eating up him and his fifty.

Divide waters of Jordan

2 Kings 2:8
8 Then E·li´jah took his official garment and wrapped it up and struck the waters, and gradually they were divided this way and that way, so that both of them went across on the dry ground.

Elijah went up by whirl wind with Chariot of fire into heaven
2 kings 2:11,13
11 And it came about that as they were walking along, speaking as they walked, why, look! a fiery war chariot and fiery horses, and they proceeded to make a separation between them both; and E·li´jah went ascending in the windstorm to the heavens.
13 After that he picked up the official garment of E·li´jah that had fallen off him, and went back and stood by the shore of the Jordan.

Miracles of ELisha

Part water and goes over Jordan on dry land
2 Kings 2:14
Then he took the official garment of E·li´jah that had fallen off him and struck the waters and said: “Where is Jehovah the God of E·li´jah, even He?” When he struck the waters, then they were gradually divided this way and that way, so that E·li´sha went across.

Heals water with salt

2 kings 2:21-22
21 Then he went on out to the source of the water and threw salt in it and said: “This is what Jehovah has said, ‘I do make this water healthful. No more will death or any causing of miscarriages result from it.’” 22 And the water continues healed down to this day, according to E·li´sha’s word that he spoke.

Bears tears 42 Children

2 kings 2:23-25
And he proceeded to go up from there to Beth´el. As he was going up on the way, there were small boys that came out from the city and began to jeer him and that kept saying to him: “Go up, you baldhead! Go up, you baldhead!” 24 Finally he turned behind him and saw them and called down evil upon them in the name of Jehovah. Then two she-bears came out from the woods and went tearing to pieces forty-two children of their number. 25 And he kept going from there to Mount Car´mel, and from there he returned to Sa·mar´i·a.

Country is filed with water without rain

2 kings 3:16-20
16 And he went on to say: “This is what Jehovah has said, ‘Let there be a making of this torrent valley full of ditches; 17 for this is what Jehovah has said: “YOU men will not see a wind, and YOU will not see a downpour; yet that torrent valley will be filled with water, and YOU men will certainly drink [from it], YOU and YOUR livestock and YOUR domestic animals.”’ 18 And this will indeed be a trivial thing in the eyes of Jehovah, and he will certainly give Mo´ab into YOUR hand. 19 And YOU must strike down every fortified city and every choice city, and every good tree YOU should fell, and all the springs of water YOU should stop up, and every good tract of land YOU should mar with stones.”
20 And it came about in the morning, at the time of the going up of the grain offering, that, look! water was coming from the direction of E´dom, and the land came to be filled with the water.

Increase widow,s oil
2 kings 4:1-7
1 Now there was a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets that cried out to E·li´sha, saying: “Your servant, my husband, is dead; and you yourself well know that your own servant had continually feared Jehovah, and the creditor himself has come to take both my children for his slaves.” 2 At this E·li´sha said to her: “What shall I do for you? Tell me; what do you have in the house?” To this she said: “Your maidservant has nothing at all in the house but a spouted jar of oil.” 3 Then he said: “Go, ask for vessels for yourself from outside, from all your neighbors, empty vessels. Do not hold yourself to a few. 4 And you must go and close the door behind yourself and your sons, and you must pour out into all these vessels, and the full ones you should set aside.” 5 Upon that she went away from him.

When she closed the door behind herself and her sons, they were bringing [the vessels] near to her, and she was doing the pouring out. 6 And it came about that as soon as the vessels were full she went on to say to her son: “Do bring still another vessel near to me.” But he said to her: “There is no other vessel.” At that the oil stopped. 7 So she came in and told the man of the [true] God, and he now said: “Go, sell the oil and pay off your debts, and you [and] your sons should live from what is left.”

Birth of son to barren Shunamite woman

2 kings 4: 8-17
8 And it came about one day that E·li´sha went passing along to Shu´nem, where there was a prominent woman, and she began to constrain him to eat bread. And it came about that as often as he would pass by, he would turn aside there to eat bread. 9 At length she said to her husband: “Here, now, I well know that it is a holy man of God that is passing by us constantly. 10 Please, let us make a little roof chamber on the wall and put there for him a couch and a table and a chair and a lampstand; and it must occur that whenever he comes in to us he can turn aside there.”

11 And it came about one day that as usual he came in there and turned aside to the roof chamber and lay down there. 12 So he said to Ge·ha´zi his attendant: “Call this Shu´nam·mite woman.” At that he called her that she might stand before him. 13 Then he said to him: “Please, say to her, ‘Here you have restricted yourself for us with all this restriction. What is there to be done for you? Is there anything to speak to the king or to the chief of the army for you?’” To this she said: “In among my own people I am dwelling.” 14 And he went on to say: “What, then, is there to be done for her?” Ge·ha´zi now said: “For a fact, a son she does not have, and her husband is old.” 15 Immediately he said: “Call her.” So he called her, and she kept standing at the entrance. 16 Then he said: “At this appointed time next year you will be embracing a son.” But she said: “No, my master, O man of the [true] God! Do not tell lies in connection with your maidservant.”

17 However, the woman became pregnant and gave birth to a son at this appointed time the next year, just as E·li´sha had spoken to her.

Restore life to son of Shunamite woman
2 kings 4: 18-37

18 And the child kept on growing up, and it came about one day that he went out as usual to his father with the reapers. 19 And he kept saying to his father: “My head, O my head!” At last he said to the attendant: “Carry him to his mother.” 20 Accordingly he carried him and brought him to his mother. And he kept sitting upon her knees until noon, and gradually he died. 21 Then she went up and laid him upon the couch of the man of the [true] God and closed the door upon him and went out. 22 She now called her husband and said: “Do send me, please, one of the attendants and one of the she-asses, and let me run as far as the man of the [true] God and return.” 23 But he said: “Why are you going to him today? It is not a new moon nor a sabbath.” However, she said: “It is all right.” 24 So she saddled up the she-ass and said to her attendant: “Drive and go ahead. Do not hold back for my sake from riding unless I shall have said so to you.”

25 And she proceeded to go and come to the man of the [true] God at Mount Car´mel. And it came about that, as soon as the man of the [true] God saw her out ahead, he immediately said to Ge·ha´zi his attendant: “Look! The Shu´nam·mite woman over there. 26 Now run, please, to meet her and say to her, ‘Is it all right with you? Is it all right with your husband? Is it all right with the child?’” To this she said: “It is all right.” 27 When she came to the man of the [true] God at the mountain, she at once took hold of him by his feet. At this Ge·ha´zi came near to push her away, but the man of the [true] God said: “Let her alone, for her soul is bitter within her; and Jehovah himself has hidden it from me and not told me.” 28 She now said: “Did I ask for a son through my lord? Did I not say, ‘You must not lead me to a false hope’?”

29 Immediately he said to Ge·ha´zi: “Gird up your loins and take my staff in your hand and go. In case you encounter anyone, you must not greet him; and in case anyone should greet you, you must not answer him. And you must place my staff upon the face of the boy.” 30 At this the mother of the boy said: “As Jehovah is living and as your soul is living, I will not leave you.” Therefore he got up and went with her. 31 And Ge·ha´zi himself passed along before them and then put the staff upon the boy’s face, but there was no voice nor paying of attention. So he went back to meet him and told him, saying: “The boy did not wake up.”

32 At last E·li´sha came into the house, and there the boy was dead, being laid upon his couch. 33 Then he came in and closed the door behind them both and began to pray to Jehovah. 34 Finally he went up and lay down upon the child and put his own mouth upon his mouth and his own eyes upon his eyes and his own palms upon his palms and kept bent over him, and gradually the child’s flesh grew warm. 35 Then he began walking again in the house, once this way and once that way, after which he went up and bent over him. And the boy began to sneeze as many as seven times, after which the boy opened his eyes. 36 He now called Ge·ha´zi and said: “Call this Shu´nam·mite woman.” So he called her and she came in to him. Then he said: “Lift up your son.” 37 And she proceeded to come in and fall at his feet and bow down to him to the earth, after which she lifted up her son and went out.

Heals noxious pottage
2 kings 4: 38-41

38 And E·li´sha himself returned to Gil´gal, and there was famine in the land. As the sons of the prophets were sitting before him, he in time said to his attendant: “Put the large cooking pot on and boil stew for the sons of the prophets.” 39 Accordingly a certain one went out to the field to pick mallows, and he got to find a wild vine and went picking wild gourds from it, his garment full, and then came and sliced them into the stewpot, for they were not acquainted with them. 40 Later they poured it out for the men to eat. And it came about that, as soon as they ate from the stew, they themselves cried out and began saying: “There is death in the pot, O man of the [true] God.” And they were not able to eat. 41 So he said: “FETCH, then, flour.” After he threw it into the pot, he went on to say: “Pour out for the people that they may eat.” And nothing injurious proved to be in the pot.

Feeds 100 men with 20 loaves of bread
2 kings 4: 42-44

42 And there was a man that came from Ba´al-shal´i·shah, and he came bringing to the man of the [true] God bread of the first ripe fruits, twenty barley loaves, and new grain in his bread bag. Then he said: “Give it to the people that they may eat.” 43 However, his waiter said: “How shall I put this before a hundred men?”

To this he said: “Give it to the people that they may eat, for this is what Jehovah has said, ‘There will be an eating and a having of leftovers.’” 44 At that he put it before them, and they began to eat, and they had leftovers according to the word of Jehovah.

Eyes of his servant opened, See mountain full of horses
2 kings 6:15-17
15 When the minister of the man of the [true] God rose early to get up, and went out, why, there a military force was surrounding the city with horses and war chariots. At once his attendant said to him: “Alas, my master! What shall we do?” 16 But he said: “Do not be afraid, for there are more who are with us than those who are with them.”

17 And E·li´sha began to pray and say: “O Jehovah, open his eyes, please, that he may see.” Immediately Jehovah opened the attendant’s eyes, so that he saw; and, look! the mountainous region was full of horses and war chariots of fire all around E·li´sha.

FAKE PROPHETS WILL SUFFER.

Act 19: 13; 15-17
Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon-possessed.
They would say, “In the name of the Jesus whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out.”
One day the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?”
XxxxThen the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding. Xxx
When this became known to the Jews and Greeks living in Ephesus, they were all seized with fear, and the name of the Lord Jesus was held in high honor. (Acts 19:13, 15-17 NIV)

Matthew 7:21-23
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ (Matthew 7:21-23 NIV)

The God of Unity and Diversity.

Our father and God is ONE

However he loves unity and diversity in all his creative works
He also allows diversities of opinion in religious matters.

The early Christians follow Jesus and God examples in unity and diversity in their letters to the congregations during their Apostolic missionary works

For example in Ephesians 2: 8-9, Holy Spirit direct Paul to emphasize
FAITH alone in Jesus Ransom Sacrifice gives us the Free Gift of life.
Not due to You or Your Work, so that no one could boast.
On the other hand,
Apostle James approach was based on Works of Faith. He said Faith without Work is dead. James 2:17
These two Missionaries have diversity of opinions on the subject of Faith and yet both of them have God spirit directing their work.

Another example was how each person view sin and those who commit sins.

Apostle Paul being a lawyer based his view on judgement and view sins as a wicked acts and the sinners should be ex-communicated. 1 Corinthian 6:9-10
However,
Apostle James think differently about sins. He links sins to spiritual sickness that requires prayer and forgiveness. He said in James 5:14-16

14 Is there anyone sick among YOU? Let him call the older men of the congregation to [him], and let them pray over him, greasing [him] with oil in the name of Jehovah.
15 And the prayer of faith will make the indisposed one well, and Jehovah will raise him up.
Also, if he has committed sins, it will be forgiven him.

16 Therefore openly confess YOUR sins to one another and pray for one another, that YOU may get healed. A righteous man’s supplication, when it is at work, has much force.

Diversity and Unity of purpose in Religion.

Thirdly, another areas of diversity is in method of worship or religion. For example, when One of Jesus Disciple , John want to silence another godly person using Jesus Name to expelled demons, because he was not among the disciples of Jesus. Jesus immediately corrected him.

Mark 9:38-39
38 John said to him: “Teacher, we saw a certain man expelling demons by the use of your name and we tried to prevent him, because he was not accompanying us.”
39 But Jesus said: “Do not try to prevent him, for there is no one that will do a powerful work on the basis of my name that will quickly be able to revile me

1 Corinthian 12: 1-12
Now concerning the spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want YOU to be ignorant.
3 Therefore I would have YOU know that nobody when speaking by God’s spirit says: “Jesus is accursed!”
and nobody(churches) can say: “Jesus is Lord!” except by holy spirit.

4 Now there are varieties of gifts, but there is the same spirit; 5 and there are varieties of ministries,(churches) and yet there is the same Lord;
6 and there are varieties of operations, and yet it is the same God who performs all the operations in all persons. 7 But the manifestation of the spirit is given to each one for a beneficial purpose.
8 For example, to one there is given through the spirit speech of wisdom, to another speech of knowledge according to the same spirit, 9 to another faith by the same spirit, to another gifts of healings by that one spirit,
10 to yet another operations of powerful works, to another prophesying, to another discernment of inspired utterances, to another different tongues, and to another interpretation of tongues.
11 But all these operations the one and the same spirit performs, making a distribution to each one respectively just as it wills.

12 For just as the body is one but has many members, and all the members of that body, although being many, are one body, so also is the Christ. 13 For truly by one spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink one spirit.

KJV
Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
2-Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

3-Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. (1 Corinthians 12:1, 3-12 KJV)

Diversity about food and Special Days.

Roman 14: 1-10, 22-23
Welcome the [man] having weaknesses in [his] faith, but not to make decisions on inward questionings.
2 One [man] has faith to eat everything, but the [man] who is weak eats vegetables.
. 3 Let the one eating not look down on the one not eating, and let the one not eating not judge the one eating, for God has welcomed that one
. 4 Who are you to judge the house servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for Jehovah can make him stand.
5 One [man] judges one day as above another; another [man] judges one day as all others; let each [man] be fully convinced in his own mind.

6 He who observes the day observes (Birthday) it to Jehovah. Also, he who eats, eats to Jehovah, for he gives thanks to God; and he who does not eat does not eat to Jehovah, and yet gives thanks to God
. 7 None of us, in fact, lives with regard to himself only, and no one dies with regard to himself only; 8 for both if we live, we live to Jehovah, and if we die, we die to Jehovah. Therefore both if we live and if we die, we belong to Jehovah. 9 For to this end Christ died and came to life again, that he might be Lord over both the dead and the living.

10 But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you also look down on your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of God;
11 for it is written: “‘As I live,’ says Jehovah, ‘to me every knee will bend down, and every tongue will make open acknowledgment to God.’” 12 So, then, each of us will

Mentality of Only Me, Only us, ONLY my religion is serving the true
God is supported by God and Jesus. That was why God corrected Prophet Elijah who thinks that he was the only person serving God in Israel and he was replaced with Elisha.

1 king 19:9-10, 14-18
9 There he finally entered into a cave, that he might spend the night there; and, look! there was Jehovah’s word for him, and it went on to say to him: “What is your business here, E·li´jah?”

10 To this he said: “I have been absolutely jealous for Jehovah the God of armies; for the sons of Israel have left your covenant, your altars they have torn down, and your prophets they have killed with the sword, so that I ONLY am left; and they begin looking for my soul to take it away.”

14 To this he said: “I have been absolutely jealous for Jehovah the God of armies; for the sons of Israel have left your covenant, your altars they have torn down, and your prophets they have killed with the sword, so that I ONLY am left; and they begin looking for my soul to take it away.”

15 Jehovah now said to him: “Go, return on your way to the wilderness of Damascus; and you must come in and anoint Haz´a·el as king over Syria.
16 And Je´hu the grandson of Nim´shi you should anoint as king over Israel; and E·li´sha the son of Sha´phat from A´bel-me·ho´lah you should anoint as prophet in place of you.
17 And it must occur that the one escaping from Haz´a·el’s sword, Je´hu will put to death; and the one escaping from Je´hu’s sword, E·li´sha will put to death.

18 And I have let seven thousand remain in Israel, all the knees that have not bent down to Ba´al, and every mouth that has not kissed him.”

Elijah think is the ONLY one serving God. But Jehovah says, I Have 7,000 worshiper who have not worship Baal. What a humiliation. God replaced Elijah with Elisha as a prophet. No man or organization is indispensable to God. Jesus
Said he can command the stones to rise up and praise the living God. Jesus said, “I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.” (Luke 19:40 NIV)
The point is there is no religion ministry or organization that have the monopoly of True worship. You can’t own God. He is the father of all creations.

Also Moses was replaced by Joshua

Deuteronomy 32:48 -52
And Jehovah proceeded to speak to Moses on this same day, saying:
49 “Go up into this mountain of Ab´a·rim, Mount Ne´bo, which is in the land of Mo´ab, which fronts toward Jer´i·cho, and see the land of Ca´naan, which I am giving to the sons of Israel as a possession.
50 Then die on the mountain into which you are going up, and be gathered to your people, just as Aaron your brother died on Mount Hor and got to be gathered to his people;

51 for the reason that YOU men acted undutifully toward me in the middle of the sons of Israel at the waters of Mer´i·bah of Ka´desh in the wilderness of Zin; for the reason that YOU men did not sanctify me in the middle of the sons of Israel.
52 For from a distance you will see the land, but you will not go there into the land that I am giving to the sons of Israel.”

From the above information, one can see that God, Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit enjoys diversity of worship and their dealings with people of faith. Therefore Any man or Corporation who fail to honor Jehovah but want to draw men after themselves by introducing, WE verses THEM and ONLY US doctrines Jehovah will humble them and replace them, Just as he replaces Prophet Elijah with Elisha, he also replaces Moses with Joshua. What a lesson for all Christians particularly the Church leaders and elders.

For example
John 4:23says God is a spirit
I john 4: 8 says God is Love
