What is testimony?
Testimony is a statement or declaration of a witness under oath or affirmation, usually in court. It is an evidence in support of a fact or statement; proof.
In faith it is an open declaration or profession, as of faith. Usually, testimonies is the precepts of God. God lives in Praises.
Given testimony or bear witness to what God has done for you brings gladness to Him and it is an application for more. If you give your testimony on one thing God has done for you, be ready to receive another miracle.
Testimony is so important that God commanded Moses to build an arc of testimony and keep his unusual acts or miracles inside it.
As the LORD commanded Moses, so Aaron laid it up before the Testimony, to be kept. And the children of Israel ate manna forty years, until they came to an inhabited land; they ate manna until they came to the border of the land of Canaan. (Exodus 16:34-35 NKJV).
And you shall put into the ark the Testimony which I will give you. (Exodus 25:16 NKJV).
You shall put the mercy-seat upon the ark of the Testimony in the Most Holy. (Exodus 26:34 NKJV)
They ate manna for 40 Years and non of the suffered diabetes, sickness from eating manna. This testimony was kept and that is why we are reading about it today.
One of God favorite servant was King David. God said, David is a man after my hearts. Why did God favor David to the point of establishing an everlasting covenant with him?

Examples of those who Give their Testimonies
“The man from whom the demons had gone out begged to go with him, but Jesus sent him away, saying, “Return home and tell how much God has done for you.” So the man went away and told all over town how much Jesus had done for him.”(Luke 8:38-39 )
“Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony, “He told me everything I ever did.” So when the Samaritans came to him, they urged him to stay with them, and he stayed two days. And because of his words many more became believers.”(John 4:39-41 )
