Who is a Servant:
A servant is a person employed by another, especially to perform domestic duties.a person in the service of another or
a person employed by the government: a public servant.
But if God is your employer, you will called, God,s Servant.
In our case God is our employer and He has some criteria and qualifications we must have before we can become God’s Servant.
If You Are a Pastor God will call you my servant.
And if you give God whole soul service God will promote you to a Leadership position.
You must be a servant first before you can be promoted to be a leader because God always reward a humble servant.
What are the qualifications of God’s Servant? What is the characteristics of God’s Servants? To know the answer to this question we shall read two Scriptures.
1. Psalm 15:1-3
LORD, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill?”Psalms 15:1
“He who walks uprightly, And works righteousness, And speaks the truth in his heart; He who does not backbite with his tongue, Nor does evil to his neighbor, Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend;”Psalms 15:2-3 NKJV
These are some of the criteria that God is looking for in a pastor.
2. Likewise deacons must be reverent, not double-tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy for money, holding the mystery of the faith with a pure conscience. But let these also first be tested; then let them serve as deacons, being found blameless. Likewise, their wives must be reverent, not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things. Let deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well. For those who have served well as deacons obtain for themselves a good standing and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.”
I Timothy 3:8-13 NKJV
We shall soon be standing to pray and say
1. Father in the name of Jesus qualify me to be your faithful servant in the mighty name of Jesus.
Just as it is difficult for a lion to eat grass even when is hungry, so also it is difficult for the son of God or God’s Servant to sin because God has planted the seed of righteousness in him.
Prayer 2
Father in the name of Jesus plant the seed of righteousness in my hearts in the mighty name of Jesus (1 John 3:8-9)
“Now then, do it! For the LORD has spoken of David, saying, ‘By the hand of My servant David, I will save My people Israel from the hand of the Philistines and the hand of all their enemies.’ ””
II Samuel
Mathew 6:33
Our focus should be on God’s Kingdom and it’s righteousness everything else such as food, clothing and shelter will be added to you.
God Reward His Servants
For example David was in the field caring for the sheep of his father. He was busy shepherding the sheep when God promoted him from shepherding the sheep to be shepherding the nations of ISRAEL
“Now therefore, thus shall you say to My servant David, ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts: “I took you from the sheepfold, from following the sheep, to be ruler over My people, over Israel.”
II Samuel 7:8
God is looking for a faithful servant to bless. His looking for who to make a king. God is looking for a hardworking servant and with a joyful heart. God is looking for a humble person to promote to a position of leadership. God is looking for a honest person to double their blessings.
““David My servant shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd; they shall also walk in My judgments and observe My statutes, and do them.”

““Behold! My Servant whom I have chosen, My Beloved in whom My soul is well pleased! I will put My Spirit upon Him, And He will declare justice to the Gentiles.”

“Then they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob My servant, where your fathers dwelt; and they shall dwell there, they, their children, and their children’s children, forever; and My servant David shall be their prince forever.”Ezekiel 37:25 NKJV

“I will establish one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them— My servant David. He shall feed them and be their shepherd.”

“Behold, My Servant shall deal prudently; He shall be exalted and extolled and be very high.”

“Then He said, “Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I, the LORD, make Myself known to him in a vision; I speak to him in a dream. Not so with My servant Moses; He is faithful in all My house. I speak with him face to face, Even plainly, and not in dark sayings; And he sees the form of the LORD. Why then were you not afraid To speak against My servant Moses?””

“If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.”John 12:26 NKJV
