Am compelled to write about a very important person. The person was consulted before our world was created. This person is the power of God.
His name is Holy Spirit.
Why is He the most important person to God and to Jesus?
The Bible says,
“The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep.
And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.”
God said, let us make man in our image.
Certainly God was making consultations with Holy Spirit and Jesus.
We can say that Holy Spirit was co creator of our Earth.
Genesis 1:2,26 NKJV
Holy Spirit is a person that pregnanted Virgin Mary. That means He transferred the life of Jesus to the womb of a Virgin Mary.
Holy Spirit made the birth of Jesus possible. Luke 1:35
Holy Spirit is the author of the Scriptures. There is Scriptures that was written without the power of the Holy Spirit.
A new covenant is written in the hearts all believers by the Holy Spirit, so that everyone can know God and worship Him in Spirit and In Truth.

Holy Spirit was responsible for the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the grave.
We also have confidence in the Holy Spirit to resurrect us if the need arise.

Roman 8:11,14-15,26
Another works of the Holy Spirit was to distribute spiritual gifts to all believers. He gave some people the spirit of knowledge.
Apostles Paul wrote,
“for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.”
I Corinthians 12:8-11
The work of great commissions given to the believers can not be accomplished without power of Holy Spirit. No wonder Jesus told his disciples to wait in Jerusalem for Holy Spirit to receive enabling power to preach the good news world wide.
Act 1:7-8
Holy Spirit is a gentle man but dangerous. He is unforgiving.
“And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.”
For example, He killed Anania and his wife when they lied and betrayed Him.
“But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself?” We got to be careful when dealing with Holy Spirit. He killed and He resurrect a faithful person.
Acts 5:3-12
Ephesians 4:30
Obedience to Holy Spirit leads to peace and external life. Holy Spirit is our helper during difficult times. For example, one day I was lost and my navigator won’t work and I stop to pray and I asked the Holy Spirit to give me direction. He did I got to my destination in time.
This is one example of how Holy Spirit can help us.
