Why must We Change Our Mentality About Money?
Prayer:
Father in the name of Jesus send your word to us this morning and give us understanding about negative power of the love of money in the name of Jesus

Money is so powerful
Money Answered to many things
Nothing can be accomplished without money.
The richest king Solomon said,
“For wisdom is a defense as money is a defense…..
Ecclesiastes 7:12 NKJV
That means money give protection but false security.
If having money is so important
Why must We Change Our Mentality About The Love of Money?
The Bible says,
“For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, such as
1. Armed Robbers
2. Kidnappers
3. Ritual Killing
4. Selling one’s organ or eggs for money
5. Money Rituals
6. Bribery and Corruption
7. Prostitution is when a lady trade her body for money.
8. Organ harvesting is when a victim body parts for money.
9. False prophecy
10. False Miracles
11. Looting of common wealth (They call it national cake in Nigeria).
12. Borrowing Money and Stealing same instead of borrowing for development.
13. Drugs trafficking
14. Oil bunkering of crude oil
15. Piracy on the high sea and hostage taken
16. Recycling Terrorists in to increase the military budgets
17. Medicare fraud and Medical Insurance fraud, malpractice based on false surgeries and testing. Some Doctors were in jail for Medicaid fraud
18. Selling fake drugs and fake foods
19. Falsification of Elections result
20. Insider information in stock market
21. Exploiting the workers particularly Teachers and Pastors.
22. Depopulation agenda by abortion and sterilization vaccines.
23. Just to mention but few. The Bible says, For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil,
for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”1Timothy 6:10
How can we differentiate between having plenty of money and the Love of Money?
Jesus gave an Example of man with great possession,
This rich man came to Jesus, and said Good teacher What can I do to be in Heaven?
He told Jesus,”I have kept all the Laws
Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.””
Mark 10:1, 21 NKJV
This rich man went away with sorrow.
He Loves money than the Kingdom of God.
that was why Jesus said,
“It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.””
Mark 10:25 NKJV
Majority of rich people are like the rich man in the Bible. They will failed the test of loyalty between God and money. One can not serve two masters, no one can serve God and Money.
And Jesus added to it by saying to the rich,
“But woe to you who are rich, For you have received your consolation.”Luke 6:24
The Yoruba adage was”Owo Ni wo nwole aye meaning that it is money that is destroying our world “ I quote.
The Love of money is destroying our world
The love of Money do more damages to our humanity than good.
On the other hands,
“Now godliness or holiness with contentment is great gain.
For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.” (I Timothy 6:6-8 NKJV)
King Solomon call it vanity and ask,
“Will you set your eyes on that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings; They fly away like an eagle toward heaven.”
Proverbs 23:5 NKJV
In other words money can fly away anytime or the owner can die and leave everything behind.
Prophet Ezekiel prophecy that a time is coming:
“‘They will throw their silver into the streets, And their gold will be like refuse; Their silver and their gold will not be able to deliver them In the day of the wrath of the LORD;
They will not satisfy their souls, Nor fill their stomachs,
Because it became their stumbling block of iniquity.”
Ezekiel 7:19 NKJV
Presently, COVID 19 is killing people indiscriminately
Killing both the rich and the poor, killing president and masses.
Besides that Money Is Not Useful In Heaven?
“For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,”
Philippians 3:20 NKJV
These are the reasons Why We Must Change Our Mentality About Money.
It is the blessing of God that make one rich without pain. My simple prayer was Father make a blessing to others. My testimony is before I need anything God supplies all my needs.
Mathew 6:31-32 Jesus caution you and me saying, “stop worrying about what to eat, what wear and where to sleep, God your father knows what you need before you ask him. These are the prayer of the Gentiles, the prayer of pagans and unbelievers.
The Key to Divine Prosperity is Obedience
Obedience in working diligently
Obedience in practicing righteousness because it is Righteousness that exalt a people and nations.
Then the blessing of God will make you rich without sorrow.
May God gives us understanding
Let us pray:
Father gives us the spirit of obedience to be righteous in all areas of our lives in Jesus name.
Father make me a distributor of your blessings and let me be a blessing to others in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Jeremiah 9:21-25
“For death has come through our windows,
Has entered our palaces,
To kill off the children— no longer to be outside!
And the young men— no longer on the streets!
Thus says the LORD: “Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom,
Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches;
But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth.
For in these I delight,” says the LORD.”
