Sin has been part and parcel of human life. Sin has become integral part of man from the garden of Eden. In fact, sin is hardly mentioned again in our national life. The churches hardly talk about sin. Mentioning sin is a taboo in some religion because many people will not come again.
The greatest sin is disobedience
Disobedience is the mother of all sins. Disobedience gives birth to all other sins.
Everyone is a sinners. We inherited sin from birth. The Bible says all humans have sinned and fall short of God’s glory. The wages of sin is dead. When sin becomes pregnant it gave birth to death. Sin brought death to the human race. If anyone does not sin in words, they will encounter sin in deed or in their thoughts. That was why the Bible says all unrighteousness is a sin.
Therefore, “do not condemn anyone simply because they sin differently from yours.” Pastor Hagee said, I quote.
Jesus said, ““Judge not, that you be not judged.
Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”
Matthew 7:1, 5 NKJV
Is there a remedy for sins? Yes.
The good news was, Immediately man failed the test of loyalty to God in the garden of Eden, God promised of a seed of the woman. That seed was Jesus Christ.
Apostles was correct by saying,
“This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.” I Timothy 1:15 NKJV
“For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.”
John 1:17 NKJV
“When Jesus heard it, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.””
Mark 2:17 NKJV
The Second Reason why Jesus Came, was to destroy the works of the Devil. The work of the Devil is sin. Sin means Satan is in-control
Apostles John said,
“He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” I John 3:8 NKJV
This new year. This new decade gives us the opportunity to repent and chart a new course for our lives. The choice is your to make.
You have a choice to come to Jesus for salvation or to continue in sin with the Devil. God, Jesus and I want you to choose Life in Jesus and live.
Let your new year resolution be as follows:
1. Determine that from this new decades you will stop lying. Because lying is the language of the Devil.
2. Secondly determination to be holy like your Heavenly Father is holy.
3. Thirdly, that you will not judge another sinners simply because their sins are differ from yours Mathew 7:1-5 ,
4. Be happy that there is no condemnation for anyone who have given their lives to Jesus.

May God gives us understanding of his love in Jesus name
May the mercy of God rest upon you.in Jesus name
May God grace locate you in Jesus name
May Jesus heal you of sins and the effects of sins in the mighty name of Jesus.
May God plant the seeds of holiness in you in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
