For more than two centuries, days of thanksgiving were celebrated by individual colonies and states.
Turkey’s Birds are the only victims of the Thanksgiving Dinner since 1602.
My daughter used to say poor Turkey.
Thanksgiving is time Family come together in a year to thank God even though we thank God daily.
This Year 2020 is a year like no other years. The world have lost more than a million people to the Corona Virus pandemic.
Our country America in particular lost more than 250,000 souls. This very significant and painful because some Towns are not more 250 people.
To those who have lost friends or relatives or coworkers or neighbors please accept my condolences and pray that may God resurrect your loved ones in the mighty name Jesus.
Also am using this opportunity to thank our men and women in scrubs, that is Our Doctors and Nurses who are taking risks to save the live of others. I say big thank you.
Despite all these we have to thank God.
Therefore, if you’re hale and hearty thank God for
January,February, March, April, May, June, July , August, September, October, November and thank God in advance for December.
To all my friends and relatives and all citizens of God’s Kingdom you have many reasons to thank our God.
our thanksgiving to God should be special this year.
Why should we thank God in 2020
The reason are many.
1. The pump or hearts is still pumping blood systemically carrying blood and nutrient systemically throughout our body and removing waste and carbon dioxide from our body.
2. Your noses can smell the aroma of good food.
3. Your legs and feet’s are still carrying you from point A to point B
4. Your speech organs are still preaching the gospel of God’s Kingdom
5. Your vocal cords are still singing praising to God
6. Do you have a job? Thanks God
7. If you have lost your job through COVID 19? Thanks God
8. If you win election to service the people. Give God thanks
9. If loses Election. Give Him thanks
10. If make profits from your investment. Give God thanks.
11. If you loses money. Give him thanks.
12. If you’re able to buy turkeys for thanksgiving. Thanks God
13. If you’re not in mortuary. Give Him thanks
14. If survived the COVID-19 pandemic. Thanks God
15. More than 260,000 have died of COVID 19 this year, if you are reading this article please thank God.
16. If you’re alive and your are still breathing. Give Thanks to God.
17. We thank God for providing our daily bread
18. We thank God for healing our friends and relatives from Cancer and COVID 19 viruses
19. If God answer your prayers and get your working permit or you get your green card give God glory.
20. If you’re united with your family due to immigration issues thank God.
21. If God have healed you of Cancers or COVID 19 give him thanks.
22. We thank God for answering our prayers by fire.
23. I thank God for using me for his glory.
24. Thank God thank you are not in jail
25. Thanks God for there is no blood shed about the election.
26. Thank God for the grace of external life given to sinners like me.
27. If your relatives survive Lekki Massacre thank God.
28. Thanks God for the peaceful transfer of power from Trump to Joe Biden.
29. Do you get a job, get married, have a baby or bought a new house or a new car give thanks to Jesus.
30. Are still breathing? Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!” Psalms 150:6 NKJV
“in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

It is good to give thanks to the LORD, And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, And Your faithfulness every night, (Psalms 92:1-2 NKJV)
10 leper’s were healed only one of them came back for thanksgiving.
“Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off.
So when He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan. So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.””
